Lemire is one of my favourite writers in comics right now. His catalog is so diverse.
Descender/Ascender is an amazing series (optioned for TV by NBS/Universal)
Black Hammer is a lot of fun. A fun play on characters like the Justice League and Avengers.
Gideon Falls is great. Feels very much like an illustrated HBO show. It was picked up by the company that produces The Witcher and The Expanse.
He illustrated
Secret Path, a collaboration with Gord Downie from the Tragically Hip.
He's also done a bunch of DC and Marvel work.
