The worst part about the NextGEN is they are consistently commenting about just being happy to be out there with the big boys. If you want to achieve greatness and knock Novak, Fed and Nadal off the pedestal, you need to come out and make it known you want to crush them. Most of these players have the game, it's the mental toughness that is completely lacking. Stop acting like their superhuman - they aren't, and all 3 of them have serious flaws in their games since they have now aged well into their 30s.
It's well documented that you can beat Novak by taking away pace. Federer obviously has matches where his backhand and movement are questionable. Nadal doesn't have the raw power he used to, nor does he move as well. This is not to say exploiting these areas alone will get the job done, but there certainly needs to be a higher level of attack and execution that never lets up during a match.
Look no further than Musetti, Zverev, Thiem and even Shapo and Milos as guys who have, at times, had some of the big 3/4 on the ropes or attempted to close out big matches, only to falter badly for no real reason.
