Which is total crap. Even in a year where he was obviously impacted by a hip injury he still played 50 games and put up 28 points. That's 19 points more than Nolan Patrick. And if we're talking about being completely broken, do people need to be reminded that Patrick missed an entire season because of his neurological issues, and was complete trash in his return?

Presumably, the Flyers cannot take on so much cap in trading Patrick. The best draft pick/prospect offered likely gets him.

Someone will make a stupid offer, thinking draft pedigree means anything. Please God, don't let it be the Flames.

I could see the Hawks take a chance on him. See if playing with Kane jump starts his offensive game. Johnny might do the same thing for him. It’s likely a fairly low cost gamble worth taking.

Unless he comes for a seventh round pick, the risk is too high.
I don't get what people see in him, other than the fact he was drafted 2nd overall. What part of his game is so good that he's worth making a move for? Not a great skater. Doesn't exactly display crazy skill with the puck. Absolutely atrocious when it comes to a two way game, being completely void of any defensive awareness. And his GAF meter is always running near empty. What is it about Patrick that makes him so attractive, because every time I've watched him play in the NHL he is the worst player on the ice for his team?
