Monahan deserves a 1st rounder all day but there’s no way they would trade the 2nd overall so now we are talking comparable roster players which Seattle doesn’t have; I don’t see a fit for that really and Monahan is the kind of player we need to be moving laterally to grab a great young player coming back the other way that can play and has played top 6 minutes in the NHL.
