After all the complaining, when were you absolutely surprised at
the service given to you somewhere?
I'll start.
I went to a 7-11 postal outlet to send a money order. The person
who did the money orders was off sick, she had a heart attack or
something serious. The counterperson wasn't sure how to handle
sending the MO, so he called the manager.
The manager came out, and apologized to me, and asked if I could
come back tomorrow. I said no problem. Then I took my daughter,
grabbed some chips, and went for slurpees.
As I'm doing all this the manager comes up and says it's all on the
house. I reply I have chips and a big slurpee, plus another for
my daughter. He says it's all on the house for having to come back
the next day.
A 7-11 with customer service?!? Who ever has heard of such
a thing?

Needless to say, now I always go there to send stuff when I need a post
office...and get slurpees.
