They could have avoided the need for a study if they appointed a panel or created a commission to see if a study was really necessary.
Canada has lost a lot of clout dealing with this issue. Hard to stand up against China in defense of Uyghers or demand compensation from Iran for killing Canadians when the government can’t even take care of its own ####.
