I recently read about the unusual connection between the 1967 Spiderman series and the Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer stop-motion special. A lot of the same Canadian voice actors. Soles was also the voice of Hermie the elf - the guy that was the elf boss was also J. Jonah Jameson - have never watched Rudolph the same since.

Many great afternoons spent watching that series as a kid. RIP, thanks for the entertainment, and the memes.
