Run a Google image search for the generic term "soccer fans" and look at the results. It's pretty much the same mix of rowdy men and underdressed women you'll see on the Saddledome Jumbotron.

There will also be a link to images from this page, which proves that underdressed female fans are not limited to any one sport or any one nation: http://ueba.net/hosted_pages/Female-...C2006-20060618

If you want a real eye-full, search for "Brazilian soccer fans". You'll see stuff that would get you kicked out of the Saddledome.

I've never been to a European soccer game, but I assume that if they have Jumbotrons inside their stadiums, they will show shots of the crowd on the Jumbotrons. Assuming they have male camera operators, I would think they'll show a number of young, attractive females on the big screen.

Because soccer doesn't run as a stop-time game, they might show more continuous "action" on the screen than they do at a hockey game, but I would attribute that to the increased number of stoppages in a hockey game more than I would to any level of respect the Europeans have for their game.

At the Olympics in Italy last year they had scantily-clad cheerleaders dancing in the aisles at all of the hockey games.
