You just have to be a smart enough customer to exploit the system. Chances are, you aren't going to get a better deal anywhere else and there's a point where convienience of a store near to you and with actual return policies or warranties merits buying from some place like futureshop.
The money I've saved on buying from wholesale or pricey electronics from ebay etc. versus a brick & mortar store isn't worth it as I've heavily regretted most of those purchases. After the last monitor I bought on ebay blew up on me and I couldn't recoup any of the $500, I decided I wouldn't ever buy a monitor online again and would rather live with getting one in store where it's easy to get returns for a new one. Went to FS and got a 20" widescreen LG for $100 off as it was on the open-box table.
