I definitely see your point. I don't know if the Worlds are a larger stage than the NHL. I also have my questions about the QoC. If it builds his confidence that's great.
I have a hard time seeing Canada in the quarter finals this year. As a result, Mangiapane's biggest game would be against Finland. Again if he gets confidence from playing 4 games, that's great.
