Fair enough though I don't think this is a case of corporate welfare, it's partnering with corporations to accomplish space goals at reasonable costs, and that model has seen some success; commercial crew with SpaceX being a good example.

Meanwhile NASA's own SLS probably won't see a crewed launch until 2023.
