Honestly, I doubt McCain can win the primary right now. His attempts to appeal to the more conservative southern base have made him look like a political chameleon of the worst order. He's in tough against Giuliani for the moderates, and I have to think that real conservatives will eventually back Brownback or some other favourite son over McCain or Romney, both of whom are obviously pandering.

Not to mention that McCain's views on Iraq are turning into a liability on both sides of the aisle. McCain's in trouble: mark my words.

If the conservative base migrates to Brownback we're in trouble. I'll vote for Clinton over him, and that's saying something.

I'm pinning my hopes on Giuliani at this point.
