This is true. If the debate about him comes up, and someone like Rob Brown or Reid Wilkins start asking for evidence or precedent about him wanting to leave... it’s easy to flip the script and ask where the burden of proof actually is.
Why would he want to stay?
There are obvious things like a $100 million dollar commitment by the owner, but he could have had that or more almost anywhere.
A significant date will be next summer when he has fulfilled his mandated time in one city and could have been a free agent at age 25.
