Let's say if he would've picked up both Tiffoli and Perry, which happened to be RHS, like what the Habs did instead of picking up Markstrom, I think the Flames would be in a different place.

Picking up Perry for free would've been a definite upgrade over Nordstrom, Ritchie, Leivo or Simon at even strength and on the PP. At the very least, picking him up would've helped kept him from haunting the Flames all season long. Would've meant no Hanifin injury as well.
