- Valimaki - believes it was injury related, peaks and valleys. Development path is never straight.

- Tkachuk's injury in the bubble prevented him from skating for most of the off-season, Matthew holds himself to a high standard.

- team underachieved, by in large they've been together for a long time. With how they underachieved, things have got to change and that's our job between now and the start of next year
