Felt the team was good enough to be a playoff team but underperformed. Does not think the team is good enough to go all the way.
Pat asked about changing the core, Treliving believes that this is the first time during his tenure that the core needs to be looked at. Added his caveats about not making change for the sake of change and the difficulty of getting good players back.
Talked about the players brought in to fill roles but they didn’t pan out.
Team will talk with Gaudreau about extension but contact has to make sense for both sides. Nothing major here.
