But the way the U.S. government works on top secret programs, there is a purposeful disconnect between different departments and different ranks. Very few people, if anyone, actually have a the full picture. This is done to prevent someone from leaking important information, and if anything, all these recent leaks of videos and eye witness accounts, justifies the need to keep people in the dark, even people participating in the programs.
Some of the military personnel seem to assume that they have access to all the information them need, for example, claiming that the technology is 100 to 1000 years ahead of anything we currently have. It assumes he has the privilege to know everything that has happened past and present. There seems to be a lack of awareness or admission to the fact that they don't know what they don't know, and that is intended.
