Bottom line for me is that we need a proper DoF though. To me the transfer policy has been questionable for years. There were a couple times we were close and seemingly a good player or two away. That’s no longer the case (IMO). We need to rebuild the back line and make the midfield work. The midfield has been a glaring issue and while I was pleasantly surprised with the impact of PEH, it wasn’t enough. Even today he got the yellow and there’s no one else who can come on for him. There’s no one to shift into his role and we’re basically stuck. (I would’ve brought on Rodon in his place and pushed Dier forward, but I didn’t look to see if he was on the bench today).
Anyway, I digress, we need a DoF. I hope it’s Rangnick, but he’s free and I hoped we do that quickly so her could properly prepare.

Like Locke said hes going to germany, I dont think flick is even an option if he had wanted a new club, he could go anywhere he wants
In terms of the midfield I think its actually the most settled group we have
Hojberg
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Dele
Sissoko
Winks
Is basically where it's at now, I'd love to get value for winks and sissoko this summer, but I could see both staying as depth anyway, especially if the conference league happens.
The player most likely to be able to play as the dm next year is oliver skipp, who was on loan at Norwich and made the championship team of the season

It seems he was always going to, it just seemed that he was waiting for Low to decide to move on or for the DFB to can him, but it seems that Flick was always the natural next choice.
Flick had a really good run with Bayern.

Ya, I saw some stories today about barca and maybe juve making a run, but I dont think he would choose to leave bayern for another club job at this point
