Both cool sheds! Surferguy, what did you use on the cedar?
I have built this over the past 3 summers. Decking is PT with a natural preservative to get it to go silver-y and the structure and screening is cedar. I have used tung oil on it but it seems to wash away. You can see the difference in the 4x4 where the overhang covers it partially. I'd like it look 'wet'.
This year, I added the rolling sunshades, trimmed out the bottom in cedar, and have started surrounding the foundation of the house in rock gardens. Patio at the bottom of the stairs next year.
