They suck, but Ritchie and Nordstrom give it their all. Both guys have put their health on the line for this team.
As for Nesterov and Simon. I don't know, like I said, maybe they are good pros in the dressing room. Maybe Simon hasn't pouted at all while not getting a sniff of a game since Sutter arrived. Maybe both guys are working hard in practice.
We don't know what's going on in practice or in the locker room. Sutter is giving little tidbits of information and insight into what he is seeing.
I know you are upset about the Phillips thing, but maybe in Sutter's eyes, he doesn't think that Phillips earned an NHL game with the stats that he put up. Maybe he expects more from Phillips? Maybe Sutter should have watched some Heat games and saw what you saw?
There's lots that we don't know. What we do know is that this is a decorated and experienced NHL head coach and this team has a really bad culture. These are two facts. The rest is just guesswork.
