The catcher has to make an adjustment. He kept going down and in to righties and down and away to lefties and Mayza simply couldn’t hit it. Had Jansen adjusted earlier, maybe the pitch would have been crushed but hitting a HR is still very difficult with guys throwing 95 and it could have easily been a line drive to a defender.
