Any trade that has a net increase in contracts for Buffalo and a 2021 first rounder will have to happen in the week after the expansion draft and prior to the entry draft. It's a pretty small window and I doubt Buffalo is going to let themselves get cornered by a deadline for possibly the most important transaction they will make in a generation.
I think any deal for Eichel is going to happen after the draft and include multiple firsts, likely 2022 and 2023 picks.

Eichel
Skinner (NMC)
Reinhart
Olofsson
Mittelstadt
Thompson - 14p in 38gp; 14mins a night. Now 23.
Anders Bjork? - career high 19p in 58 gp. Nearly 25.
Girgensons - UFA 2023
If you subtract Eichel, you only have 4 guys you really want/have to protect. If you can get 3 forwards better than Thompson/Bjork, you don't mind losing one of them. I suppose the bigger challenge would be taking back a D (though that should absolutely be a top priority):
Dahlin
Jokiharju
Risto (UFA 2022)
C Miller (UFA 2022)
They'd either have to include Risto, deal him separately, or simply expose him (SEA probably takes to flip at TDL).
