Treliving probably will get the boot. Because he’s at the top and is ultimately accountable. But to be honest if I were him I doubt I would have done anything differently other than trying to move Monahan.

I honestly thought the flames would challenge for top spot in the division when they announced the Markstrom signing. I wasn’t wearing my rose colored glasses at the time.

The players deserve as much or more of the credit for the disaster that was the 2021 season. They are coach killers.

Not his fault, but his problem that the following didn’t perform:

- monahan
- gaudreau half season
- tkachuk
- anderson
- valimaki

If we’re really being honest I’d point the finger in their direction.
