If we could land Eichel while only giving up one roster player (Tkachuk likely) I think we’re a significantly better team.
Monahan sewered Gaudreau this year. And Gaudreau is the perfect player to be the second best player on the team. If you land Eichel I think that would go a long way in re-signing Johnny.
Centre depth of Eichel/Lindholm/Monahan/Backlund would be pretty damn good.
