Stupid divisions, compressed schedules, no fans, multiple team-quarantines, bogus playoffs... The fact that this season is actually going to be officially recorded into NHL history makes me want to puke.
Edit: OK, puke might be too strong of a term. I don't actually care that much. Maybe let's just say I think it sucks.

The way this season is scheduled and the obstacles it has faced (postponements and bubble schedule only) makes this season just like last years playoffs not really count in my mind since it deviates too far from the normal structure of a season. Not playing every team and the imbalance of schedules due to outbreaks invalidates this season once again. It's completely uncharted territory. And then of course the lack of fans.
The only reason it happened was to fulfill TV obligations and get money from that since in venue revenue was pretty much nonexistent for all teams.
Next season should be the one that returns more to normal and as such, will be valid in my mind.
