I agree it’s an overpay, I just think getting a superstar centre is more important than keeping an extra asset or two. You can replace assets.
They haven’t had a #1C since Nieuwendyk.
And look, if organizationally they look at Eichel and determine he’s not that guy, fair enough. But the Priority has to be finding that player. Whoever he is.
