I think you need to time your events pretty carefully. You need to get a real feel for Gaudreau, including his this very question “what if we acquire Eichel”? But if he’s wavering at all, you could end up with no Gaudreau and no compensation for him, so you have to make a call very quickly on both. At the end of the day you make a deal for Eichel and then you have to get a firm yes or no from Gaudreau before the NTC kicks in.
I have no idea what Buffalo wants. They may well want Lindholm in there somehow as well.
