I think most fans were happy anyone but Ward was coaching the team. I even said as much a few posts up. Darryl would never have been my first choice but he's had success coaching this team in the past even if it was 15 years ago. I really thought he was going to be able to at least bring the team back to an over .500 record to finish this season so it's not like I think he's a bad coach. There's no point in turning on him now as it's pretty clear he won't be going anywhere for a season or two and is more wondering if he's the right fit. Maybe Francis is full of crap but him saying that Darryl is already grating on players is concerning because as much as we would like to blow things up the reality is that a lot of these players will be back next season.
