Yeah the Gaudreau-Lindholm-Tkachuk line looks like it could really go places. Maybe its Tkachuk's sneaky passes to make space for guys but Johnny looks rejuvenated with those two and interested in shooting as much as setting up his line mates.
Seeing how offensively challenged Monahan is outside of the PP on his own line kind of shows you how difficult it must have been to connect on a play with Monahan and Ritchie. Limited ability and no finish between those two (of late).
It means we're going to need to find some decent secondary scoring somewhere. I think we should deal Monahan if the value is there and try to reel in a UFA like Landeskog, or a combination of a couple middle six guys that can chip in offense. Collecting second tier forwards by free agency has paid off pretty well for the Habs.
