I think the thing the really limits Kylington's playing time is his complete inability to move or tie up bodies in the crease. I could see that really bugging coaches.
Most aspects of his game is pretty strong though, but the missing strength in front of the crease is a pretty big gap that I'm not sure he can overcome.
Still though, I'd like to see him try (and see if there's an improvement) over trotting out Stone or Nesterov instead.
