I could see Gio being picked up by Seattle by choice or sweetened up to do so with a pick. Hes on the decline. Freeing up that salary and putting a new voice in the locker room is the best way for a fresh start. Id add another player too and I do think we see at least 2 core guys gone. I understand Gio is always talked about being such a hard worker etc. But he remains the steady constant since Iginla left. When Sutter came in and said that the team lacked the effort required to win that other teams have I felt that was quite the indictment on our leader.
