Not sure that is fair. Sure they traded two first round picks and 5 second round picks in a 24 month period at the start of the rebuild. Sure those 7 picks would have been cost controlled for the first 3 years of their contracts and would have been RFA'S after that. Sure the players they brought in for them were significantly more expensive than the high draft picks would have been. And Sure no other rebuilding team that I can think of has ever tried to goose their rebuild 3 years in by trading futures assets for present assets. And I doubt any will try that again. But something had to be done and Brad did it.
