I second Sandman's thoughts. McLeod is what - a 4th line PK'er? He is fast, but that's about it. He was a centre who never led his team in points in Junior. His numbers were pedestrian for the most part. Just a fast guy with poor hands.
I love speed, but for me it has to come like size does - it needs some skill to be useful. As some throw-in for the Flames to try and utilize in the bottom 6 to add some speed and get him to become a good pk'er? Sure. As a big piece for a Gaudreau trade? Absolutely not.
