It’s absolutely the right move. Seeing Alomars name up in the Level of Excellence knowing what the team knows, that he is someone who committed sexual misconduct, would be a daily embarrassment, let alone a sign to any woman who wants to work or enter the Blue Jays stadium that it is not a safe place for them to be. The victim came forward not seeking money or notoriety but just wanted a sexual predator to be held accountable, and this is part of being held accountable for your actions. Being a good human has to count for something, plain and simple.
