The Flames have such an uphill climb but if they get in they will be on a heater and will be a lot more battle ready than the Leafs who are waiting a week reading about how they are guaranteed to win the first round.

Flames are 5th in expected goals for in the last 25 games, and 4th in the last 10. Canadiens are 22nd in the last 10. One team is getting hot and one team is cooling off.
The tough part is that even the worst team will beat the best team 30% of the time. The Flames can keep playing well as that's within their control, but they'll need a significant amount of luck still
