meh... Calgary's chances to make the playoffs have been slim and none for a while to be honest.
I was hoping they would try bringing in more kids in the hopes of improving their draft position.
Outside of 2019, this is team that is barely in or barely out of the playoffs...people cling to the hopes of 'anything can happen in the playoffs'... but outside of StL, is that really true? Maybe LAK's first year?
The reality is that team's that win the Cup, with the exception of StL, have had a #1 or #2 OA draft pick...which means there's probably a number of other players in the top 10 OA on the roster.
Drafting elite talent should be the goal of this franchise...they've pretty much struggled with mediocrity trying to build without tanking.
At this point, I am pretty open to building an organization differently than the last 30 years...
