You know what I am afraid of....
Now that there is not pressure, Flames go lights out over the last bunch of games, making management think "Maybe this core DOES have what it takes!! We were so close - if we get a FULL season like that, we will can be elite!!" So... they shuffle in/out a bunch of fringe no-names, thinking "This is our window with this group!"
