I don’t even know why I’m bothering with you, you’re wrong all the time. That post about Neal wasn’t some insider information like I was referring to. My point was I’m not throwing out inside info all the time that’s wrong. I’ve done it less then 5 times on this site in the 14 years I’ve been here, and I remember why I don’t do it more often.

I'd argue that James Kneel's 21 goal season was pretty illusionatory (made up word but don't care) last year.
He scored 11 goals in the first month of the season, and that includes a 4 goal game, and 6 of those 11 came in two games. After that he was pretty much quiet until November and had 5 goals, 3 of which came in one game.
Out of his 19 goal regular season, 12 came on the pp. He was a horrific -20, which points out that Neal last year was not a guy that you could really want on the ice in 5v5 play and a major reason why Edmonton was so horrific at 5v5.
You're paying an awful lot for a pp specialist, who's a%% you literally have to staple to the bench 5v5.
And you can make any kind of excuse for him, Covid whatever. But frankly over the last three seasons, including the Flames season, he's just not all that good of a player, he's not a guy you can count on. And I'm glad he's burning Oiler dollars.
