Whoever the Flames draft will likely be the best prospect they have. However, I don't see a lot of franchise changing potential in this draft. Stars will emerge, but the top end is pretty weak overall.
The next two years are the ones to tank as that's where there is franchise changing possibilities.
This year the difference between drafting say 6th overall v. 10th - is in my opinion pretty trivial.
