OK, Episode 7 of Invincible is a keeper.
I'd define The Boys as, pessimistic superpower splat-stick realism.
This is a caricature that, but for all of the realism they loose in caricaturing the concept, they sure make up for it in pessimism and splat-stick. Shockingly violent in a good way, twisted but believable characters, the only real heroes are the innocent and uninitiated.
It's a fun show.
