You're going to have to explain that one. If you mean drafting small players who score at the junior level, then mission accomplished. If you mean drafting players with an NHL future, then the jury is still out with things not looking so good. Seriously, of the 2017 draft class two of the five players drafted were not offered contracts and one more looks like he won't turn into anything. For 2018, two of five are not going to earn contracts. That's a pretty crap batting average.

Nine of the ten players drafted in 2017-18 were selected after the third round. 4/9 players under contract, who were all drafted after the first 100 picks. I would say that is actually fairly impressive.
