Browns pick up 5th-year options for Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward, worth $18.86 million and $13.294 million respectively for 2022

The Browns must now decide whether or not to extend the contracts of both players this offseason. Both players are eligible to receive multi-year extensions on their rookie deals for the first time.

According to spotrac.com, Mayfield’s market on an extension is a four-year deal worth $141,063,672 million, or about $35.265 million a year.

Ward’s market value is a four-year deal worth $74.255 million for an average of $18.563 million.
