I'm reading The Crash Palace by Andrew Wedderburn right now. Wedderburn is from Okotoks and was in the band Hot Little Rocket, which I'm sure some CPers came across at some point during their many years contributing to the local music scene.

The novel is set in and around Calgary with a main character that grew up in Canmore. In the description of "The Crash Palace" the book is titled after this Flames reference pops up:

Always cool to support a local author so I thought I'd share.
