It’s weird that it’s pitched as a trade off between living life to the fullest means not saving for retirement. It’s essentially saying that not buying a 60k truck and 40k trailer is less fulfilling then a 10k truck and a 5k trailer.
There is certainly a point where increased spending money increases happiness I just don’t think most people have thought about where that point is.
