The Sutter effect doesn't usually occur until the first full season.
For Tkachuk, it's also a contract year, so he'll probably up his play quite a bit. I'll be surprised if he doesn't get at least 70 points.
I'm more concerned about the contract that follows next season and how the QO requirement affects Tkachuk's trade value.
