It's not normal to need to have a side job to supplement your "normal" job. It's a weird obsession we have in (especially American) this culture with work, and how if you aren't monetizing every minute of your life then you're not working hard enough.
So many women I know who have become Beachbody coaches or sell cosmetics stuff or skin care stuff or essential oils, some idiotic MLM scheme, in addition to working a 9-5 job, and I just have zero patience for anything like that.
Look, I like my job just fine, I'm damn good at it, but it's just there as a way to pay for all the stuff I want to do.
