I'm sure Marleau will tell you that it was his fault. He wasnt paying enough attention and Sarich's eyes were like something out of Looney-Tunes...they just lit up.
And one of the rare times I'll give credit to NHL referees. No penalty to Sarich. The hit was clean and legal.

If I remember correctly Sarich was actually called for elbowing on that hit.
Weirdly enough I don't think that gets called these days.
