I actually have no idea if it would work, but maybe there is a chance dissolved Beano could help? Its an enzyme that effectively breaks down certain complex carbohydrates, although I have no clue what the carb composition of your bird seed is.

Also, the enzyme might not work outside of a human gastric juice environment....so....maybe you'd want to dissolve the Beano in a Hydrochloric acid solution titrated to a pH of 2, warm the solution to approximate inner body core temperature, gently stir and then add table salt and KCL salt substitute to taste. You know what, f' that, just go with the Drano.
