The key is sweeping the final 4 meetings vs the Habs. Of the other 5 games, 4 are against the Canucks who haven’t played for a month and have an outrageously condensed schedule, and the other is against the Sens. If the Habs lose all 4 remaining against the Flames, with their own somewhat compressed schedule, I find it hard to believe that they will be .500 in their remaining 9 games that are mostly against the Oilers and the Leafs. So if the Flames sweep the remaining games against the Habs, I’m pretty confident they’re in. But it’s still a very big ask.
