Biden was one of the primary architects of some key pieces of legislation in the War on Drugs. It is not surprising that he continues to hold some of these views IMO.

Also co sponsored by Chuck Schumer... Man these guys need to get rotated out more frequently.

But yeah. Hard to get real change past the guys that actually made these laws in the first place.
